The House Remembers
A documentation of my grandfather’s process of dealing with the passing of my grandmother. Memory, absence, and continuity – something every person experiences. Through the development of objects, spaces, and traces, this project explores how the past lingers in the present, and how love endures beyond physical presence. Centered in my grandparents’ house, this series captures both found archival elements such as vintage family snapshots and her everyday personal belongings. The photographs invite viewers to consider their own connections to love and loss.
