The Shadows We Are Becoming is a project that dives into a conceptual story of loss and grief. The narrative grows with each new depiction of a shadow. These forms trace the boundary of the slow, quiet transformation in the wake of loss. Within this transformation, broader issues are suggested for the viewer to interpret. By clearing out the non-essentials from the frame, the focus narrows entirely to the texture of the space and the weight of the shadow, leaving just enough reality for the absence to feel heavy.
